Dhamaal 4 Cruises Past ₹150 Crore Mark with Steady Box Office Success
On its third Wednesday at the box office, Dhamaal 4 raked in a respectable Rs. 1.50 crore, despite a 25% dip from the previous day’s collection. Starring the charismatic Ajay Devgn, the film has accumulated a solid Rs. 17 crore in just six days of its third week. It’s anticipated to close the week around the Rs. 18 crore mark.
Directed by the talented Indra Kumar, this comedic drama has impressively grossed Rs. 150.50 crore nett at the Indian box office, officially joining the coveted ₹150 crore club.
Facing New Competition
The film is set to face new competition with the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but based on current trends, Dhamaal 4 is expected to pull in another Rs. 5 to 10 crore, potentially soaring to a Rs. 160 crore nett total at the Indian box office. The movie has already been crowned a ‘Clean HIT’ by industry insiders.
This achievement marks Dhamaal 4 as Bollywood’s fourth hit of the year, following in the successful footsteps of Border 2, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and Bhooth Bangla. Notably, three of these successful films are part of franchises, and the fourth shares a spirit akin to a Bhool Bhulaiyaa film. Last year, there were rumblings of ‘franchise fatigue’ as certain sequels stumbled, but Dhamaal 4 has proven otherwise with its triumphant run.
