Samsung Electronics has announced a strategic alliance with Mistral AI, aiming to bolster its semiconductor engineering and manufacturing prowess, thereby reinforcing its dominance in AI chip technology.
The partnership was unveiled at a state summit in Paris between South Korea and France. Through this agreement, Samsung will incorporate Mistral’s AI services and solutions, including its premier large language model, Mistral Large, into its semiconductor processes. This integration will facilitate the development of bespoke on-premises AI models tailored for intelligence-driven infrastructure.

Mistral’s robust AI platform is anticipated to equip Samsung with a distinctive array of tools poised to revolutionize semiconductor design and manufacturing.
