EV start-up Bounce brings affordable electric Scooter, without battery: Here is everything you need to know

As trendy and cool as the concept of electric scooters is, they have always been an issue as far as budget is concerned. A new Bengaluru-based EV start-up Bounce has come up with an electric scooter – Infinity E1 that is priced at Rs Rs 45,099. However, the cost of the scooter with the battery isRs 68,999.

You can get the scooter without a battery and then rent the battery pack using the battery swapping network of Bounce. In this network, the customers can replace their drained battery pack with a fully charged battery. While it is the first such scooter with a feature like this, the running costs of the said electric scooter will decrease as a result.

This company provides a battery pack of 2kWh lithium-ion that gives 83Nm of torque while having a maximum speed of 65 kmph. It can be charged via a normal charger too while the charging time is five hours. The other important characteristics of this scooter consist of reverse mode, cruise control, anti-theft system, tow alert, and geo-fencing plus more.

If you are worried about how will you get to know about your scooter’s battery, the company claims that you can track the charging status of your scooter too. The scooter is available in five colour options and the boot is 12-litre. The company will start delivering the scooters from March 2022 via its dealership.
