Being different from others, Rahul Dravid, India’s new head coach, always finds ways to inspire others with his small gestures. Recently, Dravid gave Rs 35,000 to the ground staff of Green Park to prepare a sporting pitch for the first Test against New Zealand.
Ajaz Patel and Rachin Ravindra exhibited an outstanding work underlow light and worsening track to defeat India’s popular spinners and get a draw for New Zealand after a very crucial last day of the opening Test on November 29.
“We would like to make an official announcement. Mr. Rahul Dravid has paid Rs 35,000 personally to our groundsmen,” the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) announced in the press box after the game.
Batters get a got result on a proper pitch such as Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Will Young, and Tom Latham. Whereas pacers like Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson defeated India’s top-order and the home team tweakers got 17 wickets.
With the appreciation by Rahul Dravid, it seems like sporting wickets would be the new thing.
