Lucknow franchise approaches KL Rahul, Rashid Khan; Punjab Kings & Sunrisers Hyderabad lodge a complaint: Reports

Indian Premier League is facing some internal issues these days. Recently, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad filed a complaint against the Lucknow franchise that was allegedly trying to get in touch with their players without prior permission.
As per one of the complainants, Lucknow – the new team was in touch with Rashid Khan and KL Rahul to quit Hyderabad and Punjab-based franchises.
“We haven’t received any letter, but we have received a verbal complaint from two franchises about players poaching by Lucknow team. We are looking into it, and we will take appropriate action if it proves to be true. We don’t want to disturb the balance. You cannot avoid such things when there is fierce competition. But it’s not fair to the existing teams when they are trying to balance everything,” a senior BCCI official told the media.
In recent reports, it has been found that KL Rahul might leave Punjab. However, there is no clarity on Rashid Khan’s part. The Lucknow-based franchise has offered a contract worth INR 20 crore to Rahul.
